Come Join this Opportunity to Learn (Bridge Sanctuary): Our panel will be discussing public school curriculum, policy and parent involvement. It is our belief that parents are their children’s primary spiritual leaders and most qualified to make decisions about their children’s education. The goal of our discussion is to help educate, equip and support parents in navigating the ever-changing cultural landscape of public education.
Our panel will include special guest, Pastor Gheorghe Rosco, a father of 4 who grew up in Romania under the communist regime of Nicholae Ceaucescu. Pastor Gheorghe will present key areas where the current direction of public school curriculum is in conflict with a Biblical Worldview. Bridge Community Church is home to several educators and we are proud to have our own Cretia Bowers, Aaron Axtell, and Karen Sandors lend their experience and expertise to our discussion. Cretia and Aaron both tenured teachers in the Tustin and Santa Ana School Districts and Karen is the former Principal of Fairhaven Elementary School and current Substitute Principal in the Orange Unified School District. They will offer a perspective of how they live out their faith in the public school environment, adding practical insights to the conversation!
This panel discussion is open to all: parents, grandparents, and those simply curious about what is happening in public education. Save the date, invite a friend and come join us for this insightful time together.
